Happy Blog Day Everyone
I'm not quite sure where this month is going to be honest, I'm sure it was only a few days into January last I looked!
A quiet post today as I finish up Phantom Dawns Epilogue and, hopefully, work on a little surprise to cap things off with. Do not expect anythng fancy.
lately I've been looking through the old blog posts. At first it was to find a reference I needed, but even after I got what I wanted, I kept on going. Re-reading my tribulations with Nanowrimo 2023 was a trip and a half, especially since there's been a lot I haven't thought about in a while (not doing it last year was a breath of fresh air). It has made me want to peek at Avalon Tales again, to see what kind of mess I left it in, and to work out where I keep going wrong in my approaches to it yet was able to get something resembling a draft complete in the very first place before I started tossing bits of it out.
Does that mean I'll get anything done? I'm not going to go that far considering my track record with things like this. My current priorities are to get Daemon Soul: Avalon complete to an acceptable standard, to complete the Daemon Soul: Winter's Tale novella and to get books relisted. The order I achieve it isn't important, of course. The biggest challenge of these is the Daemon Soul: Avalon draft, as there's a lot that needs doing with it. In contrast, I'm hoping A Winter's Tale goes a lot smoother...Famous last words!
Anyhow, is it getting chilly in here? Better see what Brennan and Riz are doing...oh.
The Comic Tales of Brennan and Riz
That's...certainly a picture of Riz in the first panel. Not really sure what I was doing there. The second panel however, is classic Riz.
The comic itself is a reference to this one from two years ago, just a different weather condition! Odd Panel 1 Riz aside, I think it came together quite well.
That's all for this week,
Join me next time for Phantom Dawn's epilogue, the story's true end.
Till then...
Keep on writing!
