Happy Blog Day Everyone
It's a fairly short post this week, as I'm sure you're all aware. In terms of other news, there is really anything. I haven't done any writing outside Phantom Dawn. I've been thinking about future projects and on a few decisions that'll greatly affect Daemon Soul 2 if I decide to pursue it, which means having to do a complete new draft. All of that just so I can shove a Christmas novellla in between book 1 and 2! Probably not worth the effort it'll take...
Anyway, let’s get a move on and head over to a certain duo!
The Comic Tales of Brennan and Riz
That looks like one wild party.
First off, no idea what happened in that 2nd panel there, actually, that's a lie, I absolutely do know what happened there. I tried to be clever and offer a slight perspective change on Riz addressing the other party goers. It did not work at all.
The final panel there is another Red Dwarf reference, as one of the show's characters point out: "It's not a party without a traffic cone!" Paraphrasing obviously. Not sure when this party became a three part deal but here we are. We've seen the beginning, we've got the rest above, guess that leaves the aftermath for next week...Though, I get the feeling that a certain holiday season is going to influence things somewhat...Hide the golden rats quick!
So, as I said, another quick week done and dusted. Chapter 20 of Phantom Dawn will be with you next week, and we are really in spitting distance of the end as Rose's fight against the creature continues. I really have to find a way to give it a nickname of sorts during the editing/ next draft process, it's getting hard to keep track of all the different creatures running around in the story!
